COMENTARY
The match was held Saturday 11-1-03 begining at 9:00 AM. Class RF .22 Auto was won by Tony Santos with a score of 39. Marc Tetrault took 2nd place with a 31. Marc was on a roll but a jammed pistol shot him down. Oh well, that can happen in combat.
Class SA Revolver was won by John Valenti who used noisy bullets this time. He dropped 4 points to score a 26 using his S & W 625 .45 ACP. Wheat Kelly was a close 2nd with a score of 24, only 2 points off. Joel Camara was 3rd with a score of 23, only 3 points off the winning score. This is a highly competitive class with good shooting all around.
Ken Daignault won the Class CF with a score of 47 using a .45 ACP auto. The two shot he made at 50 yards were tight! Matt Joe was a close 2nd with a score of 45, only 2 points away. These two shooters were tied in stages 2 and 3 but Ken cleaned stage 1. Excellent shooting! Jeff Guilbert took 3rd place with a score of 38.
Although Pete Kennedy more than doubled his score over the last match, he failed to beat Marc Denehy. TS Pete !!
The Team class was won by Camara/Daignault with a score of 256 followed closely by Santos/Joe at 252. Only 4 points difference or 1.56%. Guilbert/Tetrault placed 3rd.
The match was blessed with great weather and shooting was great to see. Thanks to all who showed up to participate, and to all those who helped during the match to paint and score and RO. A special thanks to John Valenti who did the heavy working setting things up.
